Performance rates are set by our consulting manager: rates vary by location, travel time and length of time I/we play,  whether for solo violin, backtracking violin or the violin and cello duet. Our rates will be much less than comparable professionals in the nearby city of Pittsburgh. 

As a comparison, Violin "gig" players in the closest city fees start at $1595 and go up.(They do not have advanced degrees in music)

Another duo group in an indie folk style, (without degrees in music)  fees start at $1950 for a 2 hour service.   So, we are more than competitively priced, however our rates are set for the wedding service and reception.  Non wedding events are by the hour, with the second and third, or additinal hours, after the setup etc.,  about half the first hour rate.

We are not able to compromise or negotiate fees.

We are nonjudgmental and perform for everyone: we welcome all weddings, LGBTQ+, included.  


For solo, I am very flexible and can play during weekday times as well as weekends. I play Violin (acoustic or electric five string, non fretted) Viola with backtracks.  I have a sound system and can run without electrical hookup.   I can play all "styles" of music, though I am not a bluegrass fiddler…

The duet, DIVADUOVIOLINANDCELLO,  are classically trained, professional musicians who have many years of experience performing together and with others, and love playing social events.
We play with a sound system to project our music.

We find it enjoyable and personally rewarding to play for you and your guests.

We love sharing your "happy" with you.  We love playing weddings.

We are able to accommodate your music style preferences.  
We can play most any music you would want; just ask. We have a huge repertoire, but if we have to purchase more than five pieces for a wedding there will be an uncharge for that.



Based in Morgantown, WV   We travel throughout most of West Virginia, including the New River Gorge National Park Area, Summersville, WV, the Greenbrier Resort in White Sulpher Springs, to Parkersburg area, and  Summersville WV.

We also do performances in southwestern Pennsylvania and Western Maryland.

Travel fees are included in the quote.

All performances are by contractual agreement, and a retainer fee
(non refundable) is required upon booking, with the full amount
of the contract due two months (60 days) before the date requested.
No services are performed without contract and full payment a month in advance. Payments are accepted by check, zelle and apple pay. We are not able to accept credit card payments at this time.  There are absolutely no refunds to anyone once we have performed for you.
