Duet: Jan. 2017. Gary. My fiancee and I explored quite a few options for live music in Northern West Virginia. We wanted a mix of classical and modern pieces, and Virginia's duet provided exactly what we were looking for. She was very punctual and flexible to our questions and requests. Not only was her performance and repertoire fantastic, her personality was a welcomed presence in what can be a stressful day for some. She was so accommodating and receptive to thier wishes, providing both traditional and non-traditional wedding music. Duet. . Fall 2017. Laura M.. Perfect! Viva String Duet provided absolutely perfect music for our daughter's wedding. We communicated so easily with Virginia from the early stages of our planning and she was always quick to answer our emails and met with us in her home to finalize details several weeks prior to the wedding. We knew we wanted strings at the ceremony but not really know what would work best for us and Virginia expertly and kindly guided us through the process. . Free to choose from solo violin, duo, trio or a quartet ensemble, we chose violin and cello to provide not only ceremony music but our cocktail hour music as well, and the result was just beautiful. The violin and cello were able to pay an eclectic mix tailored just for us of both classical and contemporary pieces and my daughter was thrilled to hear her favorite song played as she walked down the aisle. We received so many compliments on the music and Viva String Duo was such an important part of the wedding. They did all that you would want any musicians to do: excellent communication leading up to our wedding, arrived at both our ceremony and reception locations early, and professionally provided flawless and lovely music for our day.
Summer, 2018. Absolutely fantastic My husband and I met Virginia at a bridal show and contacted her regarding the Quartet for cocktail music...not knowing ALL that her group offered. We met her at her home and she was very welcoming and informative, but at the same time informal and easy-going. My husband and I chose the Duo of violin and cello. During the many months prior to our wedding Virginia was extremely receptive to our ideas for music and even learned some new songs for us! She was always prompt and friendly in her responses, and very professional. The compliments we heard from our guests were numerous and raving. Virginia is wonderful to work with and even more talented than we realized! She and her group are dedicated and passionate about what they do and will go out of their way to make your event special. Excellent Wedding Music! Melissa M. Summer. Virginia played her Violin at my brother's wedding and I must say it was some of the loveliest instrumental music I have ever heard. He said she was professional and easy to work with, and she seemed truly happy to be part of his special day.
